Photo shooting in Umbria.
There’s something special about discovering new beautiful places and taking shots of them… Especially when they’re right around the corner!
What we have discovered is a hidden treasure among Umbria’s hills. A romantic, evocative and old abbey.
What makes this abbey so fascinating!? It’s coloring, the fact that it’s completely immersed in the beautiful greenery of this land, where the light radiates over every single tree and leaf, the soft and gentle silence interrupted only by the song of the birds or the rustling of other animals.
This abbey is called Abbazia di San Benedetto in Fundis: the Abbey of San Benedetto in Fundis lies in the vicinity of the little village of Stroncone; a typical Italian village. The site consists of a monastery and a church with a Basilica. The original structure goes back to the 9th-10th century. From the 13th century, the Abbey began to undergo a period of slow decline.
However, notwithstanding years of deterioration, the serene and spiritual atmosphere of the place lives on.
The inspiration wedding shoot is amazing and a bit hipster. It’s stylishly romantic and filled with ideas you can borrow for your own big day.
When we first thought about this style of shoot we wanted something unusual….something that could be boho, rustic chic style.
We came across the atelier Zolotas. It was really a beautiful experience to work with this Greek Atelier. Our model wore a handmade wedding dress which seems to be tailored just for her. Atelier Zolotas has been an haute couture bridal boutique since 1972. Handmade is their philosophy. Our model was so lovely thanks to the makeup and the hairstyle of Alessio of Lauteri “amore per la tua bellezza” .
How can a handsome bride wearing a beautiful wedding gown bring out more of her beauty….!!?? We really fell in love with the jewelry of my Golden age. The jewels of My Golden Age are simple, elegant and really sleek. Have a look on their website… I’m sure that you too, as all the girls of Alessandro Mari’s team, will fall in love with them.
The flower arrangements were incredibly beautiful, thanks to Romina Sartoria Floreale. She chose a warm and versatile color palette with the delicacy of the scented roses, the charming anthurium, dried flowers, and the trendy monstera. Incredible and really unusual was the bouquet: An exaltation of flowers… looking at the flowers gave off all the emotions and the feelings of a charming wedding inspiration that you can feel by these photos.
And what can we add…. enjoy these photos, take some tips for your wedding day and follow us on our social media for more ideas!
