Wedding Vicky&Micheal at Borgo Stomennano.
“What is the fatal charm of Italy? What do we find there that can be found nowhere else? I believe it is a certain permission to be human, which other places, other countries, lost long ago.” – Erica Jong, American novelist –
Yes, Italy is an incredible place to get married and Tuscany is really an idyllic location to make your dream come true. All the time that our lovely couple chooses to come to Tuscany we are really excited because it’s so romantic and here the bright colors of the sunset are melting with the colors of the beautiful hills… When we drove along these roads to reach our stunning destination (really foxes… believe us this venue that we are going to tell you was so stunning) we felt all the magic and perfume that this land can give.
Lisa Stack of Amore Weddings organized the wedding of Vicky and Micheal perfectly and she made that day so special for everyone. This couple is from Ireland and they chose to get married in Borgo Stomennano between Florence and Siena!
Stomennano is approached by a long avenue of cypress trees is a tiny village, with its farmhouse, wine cellars, olive groves, oil mills, carpentry, stables, and a small church gathered beyond the villa. The Villa belonged to the same family since 1700 and retains the air of the elegance of a family home with antique furnishings and frescoed ceiling.
The bride’s getting ready was absolutely amazing!! Vicky was really beautiful and charming and in these rooms of the Villa, it seemed to breathe an old Epoque, of other time!
In this part, the bridesmaids always take an important role! They make this moment funny and relaxed and it’s important for a bride to be among her best friends and enjoy a special moment and a do cheers before the ceremony… make everything easier, don’t you think?!:)
At the end of this incredible getting ready, the ceremony was about to start!!! Do you imagine all the guests excited and the groom, so in anxious to see the bride come over to him and he knew that he was seeing the most beautiful thing he has ever seen and with who he wants to share the rest of his life! This is what we took in our photos but it was so emotional also for us!!
The ceremony was really gorgeous in the perfect and well-cured garden of this venue. After a while, we took some photoshoots with our bride and groom. Every corner of this wedding venue is so suitable for the couple shooting but the best corner was along the arch with the long road of cypress on the back of the couple! Simply the best glimpse of this place.
But it is not the end of this wedding story! The reception dinner was absolutely marvelous thanks to the flower designer who created an amazing atmosphere with its beautiful flowers. It was settled in the back garden. The elegant imperial table under the trees of Borgo Stomennano… Absolutely gorgeous!
If you are our fun of this blog you know by these wedding stories that Irish people love dancing and Vicky and Micheal didn’t miss the occasion to enjoy the party with all their friends and relatives on the swimming pool of the venue with the colorful lights of Alma project!
So if Italy is beautiful is because there are places like Tuscany that make this incredible land so stunning… and we hope to come back to Borgo Stomennano… where we left our heart!
