African Wedding inspiration
African Wedding at Swahili Beach Resort!
“The Cicada sings an endless song in the long grass, smells run along the earth and falling stars run over the sky, like tears over a cheek. You are the privileged person to whom everything is taken. ”
What an amazing privilege was to take photos in this marvelous and full of contradictions land, where every thing is breathless! The beauty of the sky, the falling stars, the new moon on its side and the sounds of the animals were so spectacular…
We arrived in this paradise called Swahili Beach Resort, a majestic resort where every corner is well cured. This is the perfect place where you can enjoy the beauty of Diani beach and its Indian ocean where, every morning its color change and, at the sunset, when you see the small boats on the surface of the sea and the red, gold rose paintings of the sun which makes this scenario a perfect frame! In all this beauty we shot a really inspirational wedding and we are so thankful to Salima wedding planner who planned and organized everything to perfection!
The getting ready of the bride and groom in this elegant and heavenly resort was so marvelous. The Arabic style of the bedroom, where the delicate pastel rose gown by Anniel was hanged, was absolutely amazing. We cannot speak about the dress without mentioning the butterfly shoes by Anniel…We were speechless!
After the preparation of the bride and groom we went to the Cliff Top. We love this corner of the Swahili Beach Resort, which is perfect to celebrate a ceremony with the beautiful view of the beach of Diani beach! The calm the you can enjoy here is something that is well fixed on our mind. Beautiful exotic flowers were on the arch and on the styled silver African chairs. Thanks to Romina Sartoria Floreale who setup all the flowers, who, with those lovely flowers, seemed to have found her perfect place in Kenya!
Later camels passed by way as if we were on a movie set and we couldn’t hesitate to take shoots with our spouses.. where the blue of the sky was in a perfect harmony with the color of the sand.
At the end we were really delighted by the magical reception dinner at the baobab pool! The baobab was full of fairy lights that made the atmosphere magical and romantic … Kenya is really a unique wedding destination! But stay tuned we have more things and stories to show you…
Now enjoying these photos:)
